Hannah Ashcroft drops new single ‘Under the Static’.

Take a listen to a purely unique vocalist Hannah Ashcroft whose vocal sound is BEAUTIFUL! She taught herself to play the guitar and her fingerpicking style sets the scene for her well-written lyrics. Classified as Indie Folk, her sound is definitely not what I am used to listening to and I find that refreshing. ‘Under The Static’ was recorded using electric guitars, synths and a vintage rotary telephone (now that is unusual!) and features members of The Travelling Band and BC Camplight. ‘Under The Static’ has moved Hannah away from her fingerpicking guitar and created a whole new sound for her.
